Customized Case Giveaway Event for 100 Newlywed Couples
[Asia Economy Reporter Kwangho Lee] The Financial Supervisory Service announced on the 2nd that it will revise and publish the 'Financial Life Guidebook by Life Cycle' to help financial consumers lead wise financial lives.
This revised edition is divided into five stages: early career, newlywed and childbirth period, children's school age, children's adulthood and independence period, and retirement period. It introduces major financial issues and coping methods that arise at each stage.
In addition, QR codes linking to related content have been inserted so that financial product information such as deposits, insurance, and financial investments available by life cycle can be searched and easily used. Furthermore, it explains damage cases and coping tips to properly respond to financial crimes such as voice phishing.
The Financial Supervisory Service plans to deliver the booklet free of charge to financial consumers who apply (per copy) through the Financial Education Center website.
Among the applicants, an event will be held to separately present a customized case along with 5 copies of the booklet as a life planning guidebook to newlywed couples starting a new chapter in life through a lottery.
Yoon Seok-heon, Governor of the Financial Supervisory Service, said, "I hope this revised guidebook becomes a must-read book that all Korean financial consumers, from office workers taking their first step into society to seniors preparing for a wonderful retirement, always keep close and use to lead wise financial lives."
