Village Instructor Training and Youth Autonomous Club Discovery... Gangnam Innovation Education District Project Contest

[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Gangnam-gu (District Mayor Jeong Soon-gyun) is recruiting institutions (organizations) to participate in the ‘Village Instructor Training,’ ‘Youth Autonomous Club Discovery,’ and ‘Parent Growth’ projects, which are part of the Gangnam Innovation Education District initiative, until the 5th.

The Gangnam Innovation Education District project is entering its third year this year. Gangnam-gu aims to create a happy educational environment for children by forming a public-private-academic educational community together with institutions located in Seoul.

Institutions (organizations) wishing to participate that meet the eligibility requirements for each project can apply by mail or email.

The ‘Village Instructor Training Project’ is an educational program that discovers outstanding talents as instructors in fields such as village exploration, play, environment, and healthy food.

It must be able to provide various village resource experience activities not covered in the regular curriculum, and upon selection, a project fund of 40 million KRW will be provided.

The ‘Youth Autonomous Club Discovery Project’ is promoted to create an educational environment where children and youth can independently operate programs in various fields such as volunteering, policy, and environment.

Selected institutions will receive 65 million KRW in support and serve as mentors (instructors) for the clubs.

The ‘Parent Growth Project’ was newly established this year.

This program operates parent club activities related to innovation education, village landmark explorations for parents, and special lectures on innovation education, career paths, and child education. Institutions with experience in building parent-village networks or a high understanding of the Innovation Education District project are eligible to apply, with a budget of 41.5 million KRW allocated.
