[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chunhan] Lotte Hotel Seoul announced on the 2nd that it has launched the ‘Online Express Check-in’ service to provide customers who book through the official Lotte Hotel website and app with a more convenient and faster experience.
Unlike the existing on-site check-in, which is available from 3 PM on the day of stay, the Online Express Check-in allows guests to register in advance in the morning through the official Lotte Hotel website and app, simplifying the face-to-face check-in process. Since check-in information is pre-registered, guests only need to receive their room key at the front desk without waiting.
To celebrate the launch of Online Express Check-in, Lotte Hotel Seoul will run a ‘Rewards Points Promotion’ and an ‘Instagram Friend Tagging Event’ throughout March. Rewards members who book through the Lotte Hotel Seoul website, use online check-in at least once, and stay will receive an additional 1000 points each. For the Instagram Friend Tagging Event, participants must follow Lotte Hotel’s official Instagram, tag a friend in the comments, and share the news of the online check-in launch to complete their entry. Anyone can participate, and 30 winners will be selected by drawing from the comments to receive coffee gifticons.
A Lotte Hotel official stated, “As hotel usage by the millennial generation, who are familiar with online reservation environments, increases, we launched Online Express Check-in to enhance customer convenience. In line with the recent trend of contactless services preferred by customers, we plan to expand the Online Express service to all domestic chain hotels so that customers visiting Lotte Hotel can be even more satisfied.”
