Food Waste Processor 'HelloVision GreenSink' Launched... Monthly Rental Fee 29,900 Won

[Asia Economy Reporter Eunmo Koo] LG HelloVision Hello Rental announced on the 2nd that it has launched the food waste disposer ‘HelloVision Green Sink’ and is offering rental services.

HelloVision Green Sink is a sink-attached food waste disposer and the first original equipment manufacturer (OEM) product of Hello Rental. Its one-touch operation allows food waste to be processed in just 25 seconds by simply placing the waste into the sink drain and closing the lid. It eliminates concerns about noise and odor, and there is no need to separately dispose of residues. The input food waste undergoes a primary grinding and a secondary natural microbial decomposition process through the ‘vertical microbial decomposition method,’ certified by the Korean Intellectual Property Office and the Korea Water Technology Certification Center under the Ministry of Environment, and is discharged as a liquid along with water.

Subscription consultation and application can be made at the Hello Rental Shop. The monthly rental fee is 29,900 KRW (based on 48 months), and with maximum discounts using affiliated cards, it is available for 9,900 KRW per month. Nationwide free installation is standard, and during the rental period, the service includes ▲ three regular deliveries of food waste decomposing microbes ▲ free after-sales service (AS) ▲ one free installation upon relocation.

Since its official launch in 2016, LG HelloVision Hello Rental has built a sales network based on nationwide cable TV customer touchpoints and currently services a variety of products from a total of 49 brands. In particular, beyond traditional rental products such as bidets and water purifiers, it targets a differentiated market focused on high-priced general home appliances preferred by customers, achieving an average annual growth rate exceeding 70% since its launch through last year.
