[Breaking] Park Young-sun Confirmed as Democratic Party Candidate for Seoul Mayor

[Asia Economy Reporters Koo Chae-eun, Jeon Jin-young] Former Minister of SMEs and Startups Park Young-sun was confirmed as the Democratic Party candidate for the April 7 Seoul mayoral by-election on the 1st. Former Minister Park Young-sun defeated preliminary candidate Woo Sang-ho in the Democratic Party primary vote, which combined 50% Seoul regional party member votes and 50% general electorate votes, to become the final candidate.
