9 New COVID-19 Cases Reported Today in Gangnam-gu

[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] On the 1st, 9 new COVID-19 cases (numbers 1296 to 1303) were confirmed in Gangnam-gu.

Cases 1296 and 1303 were confirmed through contact with infected individuals from other regions, and case 1298 was confirmed in connection with 'A Pharmacy,' where 5 cases have been reported so far.

Cases 1297 and 1299 showed no particular symptoms, while cases 1300 to 1302 were confirmed with symptoms such as coughing; however, their infection routes are unknown, and epidemiological investigations are ongoing.

District Mayor Jung Soon-gyun stated, "I urge all residents to remain vigilant, recognizing that you and your family can be infected at any time, and to actively comply with the government's extended social distancing measures until the 14th."
