[Asia Economy Reporter Seulgina Jo] The Ministry of Science and ICT announced on the 1st that it will recruit participating companies for the 'Global Software New Industry Order Support' project and the 'Software Company Export Activity Support' project, which support the overseas expansion of domestic software companies, from the 2nd to the 31st.
The Global Software New Industry Order Support project is designed to help domestic software companies with technologies in new software industries such as artificial intelligence (AI) secure overseas business orders by assisting in the establishment of overseas pilot projects. It supports pilot project establishment costs of around 200 million KRW per task for four tasks. Applications can be made in the form of a consortium, where three or more companies, including small and medium-sized enterprises, jointly participate.
Additionally, the Software Company Export Activity Support project supports the localization and marketing of software products overseas (United States, Vietnam, Japan). It provides nine small and medium-sized enterprises with approximately 60 million KRW for software product localization costs, expert consultation for establishing overseas expansion strategies, connections to potential clients for overseas market development, and marketing capability enhancement training.
Detailed information can be found on the National IT Industry Promotion Agency website (https://www.nipa.kr). An online briefing session will also be held for specific guidance. It can be viewed from the 10th on the National IT Industry Promotion Agency website or the KakaoTV 'National IT Industry Promotion Agency' channel.
