[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Oh Hwan-joo] Muan County (Governor Kim San) is doing its best to strengthen the foundation of public education through various educational support by establishing an organic cooperation system with the Muan Office of Education (Superintendent Kim Ran) to nurture future talents representing Jeonnam.

According to Muan County on the 27th, approximately 12.1 billion KRW has been supported as educational expenses over the past three years, and this year, a budget of over 3.8 billion KRW has been allocated for a total of 43 projects, including foreign language education support such as operating a foreign language experience center for nurturing global talents, operating school-specific special projects, and supporting academic improvement programs.

In particular, Governor Kim San held a meeting with Superintendent Kim Ran of Muan Education Office and agreed to establish a cooperative system to improve the educational environment for local students and strengthen the foundation of public education, promising active support for this purpose.

In addition, to improve the educational environment in the Oryong district, where educational demand has increased due to population inflow, a cooperative administrative and financial system will be established with the Jeollanam-do Office of Education, and efforts will be made to expedite the early establishment of a general high school.

Governor Kim San said, “We will strive not only to develop various educational policies to meet the educational demand in the new town area but also to improve the poor educational environment in rural fishing villages. We will do our best to create favorable conditions for education so that both students and parents can be satisfied.”
