Holding a meeting to discuss marketing and promotional strategies for Hapcheon-gun's agricultural specialty products
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] Hapcheon-gun, Gyeongnam Province announced on the 25th that it held a meeting to discuss effective promotional strategies for online marketing of Hapcheon-gun's agricultural specialty products, attended by about 20 officials including County Governor Moon Jun-hee, County Council Chairman Bae Mong-hee, SanGeonWi Committee Chairman Jang Jin-young, Hapcheon Distribution CEO Jang Moon-cheol, Agricultural Technology Center Director Shin Jae-soon, and Agricultural Distribution Manager Lee Dong-ryeol.
The meeting began with a presentation on the current status of marketing and promotion of Hapcheon-gun's agricultural specialty products and various marketing support policies. Participants exchanged opinions on the necessity of producing content in collaboration with influencers and establishing an efficient live broadcast system amid the changing sales environment such as non-face-to-face consumption due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic.
In addition, the meeting explored various ways to pioneer new sales channels not only for Hapcheon-gun's major production items such as onions, garlic, strawberries, paprika, and tomatoes but also for agricultural specialty products including Hapcheon rice, onion ramen, peony beauty beverages, hand cream, and sunscreen.
Shin Jae-soon, Director of the Agricultural Technology Center, stated, “Through this meeting, we plan to establish a live broadcast system with Hapcheon Distribution and produce various content to pioneer sales channels for Hapcheon agricultural specialty products.” He added, “We will spare no administrative support to revitalize the domestic market and expand the distribution of excellent agricultural specialty products in the future.”
