[Asia Economy Reporter Seungjin Lee] Nonghyup Hanaro Distribution and specialized dairy company Namyang Dairy have announced on the 25th the launch of ‘Deokbun Milk,’ which donates a portion of its sales to medical personnel.
‘Deokbun Milk,’ made from domestically produced 1A grade raw milk, is a product born as part of the ‘Deokbune Challenge’ activity by Nonghyup Hanaro Distribution and Namyang Dairy to support medical staff who have worked harder than anyone else during COVID-19.
‘Deokbun Milk,’ which aims to exert positive influence, will allocate 5% of its sales to be used for medical personnel responding to COVID-19. The donation will be shared equally between Nonghyup Hanaro Distribution and Namyang Dairy at a 5:5 ratio. Donations will be delivered to medical staff through the Korean Red Cross in the form of funds and supplies.
A Namyang Dairy official stated, “This product was created as a form of support and encouragement for medical personnel who have been working tirelessly day and night due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic,” adding, “We hope that COVID-19 will end soon and that a day will come when all of us, including medical staff, can return to normal life.”
