[Asia Economy Reporter Seongpil Cho] On Thursday the 25th, the whole country will be mostly cloudy, with raindrops falling in various places, mainly in the southern regions.

According to the Korea Meteorological Administration on the 24th, rain starting from the Jeolla West Coast in the morning of the next day is expected to expand to the Chungcheong region, the southern regions, and Jeju Island in the afternoon. The expected precipitation amounts are 30?80 mm for Jeju Island, 5?40 mm for the southern regions, and less than 5 mm for the Chungcheong region.

The morning low temperature is forecasted to be between -6 and 6 degrees Celsius, and the daytime high temperature between 7 and 12 degrees Celsius. Fine dust concentration is expected to be at good to moderate levels across all regions. However, the southern part of Gyeonggi Province and Chungnam are expected to temporarily reach poor levels in the morning.

From the afternoon, very strong winds and high waves will begin in the southern offshore areas of the West Sea, the western sea of the South Sea, and the waters around Jeju Island. On the East Coast, high waves caused by swell will exceed the rocky shores in some places.

Wave heights in the seas will be 0.5?1.5 m in the East Sea nearshore, 0.5?3 m in the West Sea nearshore, and 0.5?3.5 m in the South Sea nearshore. Offshore wave heights are expected to be 1?2 m in the East Sea, 0.5?4 m in the West Sea, and 0.5?4 m in the South Sea.
