Recruitment of Resident Companies at Eunpyeong-gu Social Economy Hub Center

[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Eunpyeong-gu (Mayor Kim Mi-kyung) is recruiting social economy enterprises, prospective startup teams, and public interest activity groups to move into the 'Eunpyeong-gu Social Economy Hub Center' located in Nokbeon-dong from February 19 to March 1.

The recruitment categories include legally established social enterprises, cooperatives, village enterprises, and other social economy enterprises, as well as startup preparation teams and public interest activity groups. Resident enterprises (organizations) will be selected through a first round of document screening and a second round of face-to-face interviews.

Selected residents will pay reasonable rent and management fees, undergo annual evaluations, and can reside for up to three years.

In addition to office space, they can use educational rooms and meeting rooms free of charge and receive support for social economy education and local community networking activities.

The Eunpyeong-gu Social Economy Support Center has a total floor area of 1,100㎡ (333 pyeong) and consists of 90-seat office space and shared spaces (education rooms, meeting rooms, common halls, shared kitchens, etc.). It plays a role in creating a sustainable social economy and local circular economy based on mutual trust and solidarity within the local community.
