[Asia Economy Online Issue Team] Kim Hyung-jun opened up about the difficulties he faced while working as a delivery worker.

On the 23rd broadcast of MBC every1's 'Video Star,' the special episode titled 'Friends Who Feel Somewhat Empty to Be True Close Friends' featured Heo Kyung-hwan, Jun Jin, Kim Seung-hyun, and Kim Hyung-jun revealing their daily lives.

In the broadcast, Kim Hyung-jun shared his current status, saying, "I am working hard in broadcasting now, but I am still doing part-time delivery work," and added, "I even filmed a commercial for a delivery company, so I feel like I should work even harder."

Starting with, "I want to confidently address what many people around me ask," Kim Hyung-jun cautiously mentioned the public perception that "Isn't this just a brief show to create a broadcast issue? Now that you're on TV, you don't do delivery work," and continued, "This is my main job, and I still work once a week around Yeongdeungpo."

Kim Hyung-jun also shared the hardships delivery workers face during their work.

He said, "If you ask when the hardest moment was, carrying heavy items upstairs is tough, but a customer once gave me a bag of food waste and asked me to throw it away on my way down. That was really mentally difficult," evoking sympathy.

Kim Hyung-jun added, "Since it was my first time, I took it down. It was really shocking. At that time, I didn't know how to handle it, so I couldn't respond properly," and expressed his opinion, "Sometimes, some apartments tell us to use the freight elevator, but every time I think, 'I'm not freight.' I wish that kind of thing would disappear a bit."

He then added, "However, those kinds of people are a minority, and there are far more people who kindly offer drinks and are gentle and friendly."

Meanwhile, Kim Hyung-jun, a member of the famous 90s idol group 'Tae Sa Ja,' gained attention after revealing that he works as a 'Coupang Man' delivery worker, and his working life was featured on the MBC variety show 'I Live Alone.'
