[Asia Economy Reporter Choi Eun-young] The recent school violence (hakpok) controversy spreading through the sports world seems to be extending into the entertainment industry. On the 20th, (G)I-DLE member Sujin became embroiled in a school violence controversy.

On the 20th, a post titled "(G)I-DLE Sujin School Violence (Hakpok) Exposed" was uploaded on an online community.

A, who revealed that her younger sibling was a middle school classmate of Sujin, wrote, "It is finally time to expose (G)I-DLE Sujin's school violence. The whole world needs to know." She added, "I feel sorry for the other members except one perpetrator, but I can no longer ignore the time my sibling endured."

A introduced herself as an ordinary person working at a foreign company and even verified the post with a graduation photo from the middle school Sujin attended.

A appealed, "In the bathroom, Sujin called my sibling and my sibling’s friends to slap each other, and sent a group text labeling my sibling as an 'outcast.' The current image on broadcasts is disgusting. My sibling struggles every day whenever (G)I-DLE’s songs play anywhere."

She continued, "Sujin smelled of cigarettes daily, said she felt dizzy from drinking alcohol, ignored people, searched others’ desks and took anything good, borrowed gym clothes but never returned them," she claimed.

She further alleged, "When a celebrity from the same school attended, Sujin shouted every day, 'Hey, you XX, breadhole, what will you do without parents?' She made them drink leftover beverages, took money, and even stole uniforms. When texts were not answered, she pushed the victim by saying, 'From now on, you’re an outcast.'"

Finally, A concluded, "I will properly prepare the materials today and post again."

Sujin’s agency, Cube Entertainment, acknowledged the situation and stated they are currently verifying the facts.
