Gyeongnam Province Launches Search for 'G-Apartment Residential Services'

Goal to Establish 'Gyeongnam G-Apartment Integrated Platform (Tentative Name)' Next Year

Gyeongnam Province Launches Search for 'G-Apartment Residential Services' Gyeongnam Province is promoting the "Integrated Apartment Management Platform Research Project" to create an apartment management system centered on the needs of residents.

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Saeyan] Gyeongsangnam-do announced on the 18th that it will promote the 'Integrated Platform Research Service for Apartment Management' to create a transparent and efficient apartment management system.

Until now, housing policies have been established with a supplier-centered approach, but considering changes in population and social conditions, it is time to shift to a demand-centered housing policy.

In addition, the proportion of multi-family housing among residents has reached 65.6% (Statistics Korea, 2019), increasing social demand for efficient apartment management.

Accordingly, Gyeongnam Province is promoting this research to establish a systematic administrative support system according to the life cycle of multi-family housing and to formulate desirable directions and policies for apartment management.

Based on the results of the 'Integrated Platform Research Service for Apartment Management,' the province plans to build the 'Gyeongnam G-Apartment Integrated Platform (tentative name)' next year to enhance transparency in apartment management.

The research will focus on developing improvement measures for apartment management, analyzing cases of integrated platforms for apartment management in both public and private sectors, discovering and applying contents for the Gyeongnam integrated platform, building the integrated platform service, and conducting pilot operations and expansions.

Heo Dongsik, Director of the Urban Transportation Bureau of the province, said, "The 'Integrated Platform Research Service for Apartment Management' will be conducted until October this year, and next year, the 'Gyeongnam G-Apartment Integrated Platform (tentative name)' system will be built so that it can be used in all apartment complexes."
