Junggi Distribution Center Supports Small Business Owners with Influencer 'Mukbang Challenge'

[Asia Economy Reporter Junhyung Lee] The Small and Medium Business Distribution Center announced on the 15th that it will conduct live commerce for small business owners together with famous influencer Hibap.

The broadcast can be viewed at 10 PM on the same day on the 'Gachi Sapsida' and Wemakeprice channels. It is a special broadcast featuring Jobang Foods' 'Trusted Chuchu Chueotang', Haedam Fisheries Cooperative's 'Domestic Fresh Clams', and Guiyo's 'Korean Beef Small Intestines'.

The Small and Medium Business Distribution Center has been conducting fixed live commerce sales of 'Gachi DAY' since September last year. This is to support small business owners who are struggling due to COVID-19 in securing digital sales channels. The broadcasts are aired every Monday and Wednesday through collaboration with private channels such as Wemakeprice, TMON, and 11st, as well as its own platform 'Gachi Sapsida TV'.

Recently, in collaboration with Wemakeprice, a 5-week special project called 'Must Eat to Live' was prepared. Every Monday, famous influencers Yasik-i and Hibap promote various products and sell them live to support small business owners.

Jinsoo Jeong, CEO of the Small and Medium Business Distribution Center, said, "We are expanding collaboration with influencers to strengthen product promotion and online sales support for small business owners," adding, "We plan to focus on supporting digital sales for small business owners by utilizing media commerce in various forms."
