[Asia Economy Reporter Kangwook Cho] Son Byung-seok, President of Korea Railroad Corporation (KORAIL), inspected the transportation and quarantine situation during the Lunar New Year holiday at Seoul Station and urged for "safe transportation."

According to KORAIL on the 12th, President Son visited Seoul Station the previous day to check the train operation status during the Lunar New Year holiday and the quarantine measures such as social distancing between passengers.

President Son said, "Since we are operating trains at the usual weekend level and selling only window seats to prevent the spread of COVID-19, please do your best in quarantine and customer guidance so that the public can use the railroad safely and with peace of mind."
