3-Year-Old Girl's Body Found, Suspect Arrested on the 10th... Reportedly Confessed One Day After Investigation

Ms. A is suspected of neglecting her young daughter in the house where they lived, leading to the child's death.
According to the police, at around 3 p.m. on the 10th, the baby's maternal grandmother discovered the girl dead in a villa in Sangmo Sagok-dong and reported it. The grandmother had gone to the villa after the landlord told her that the lease period had ended and asked them to vacate the house, where she found her deceased granddaughter.
The child was found dead in a room without heating, and it was reported that the body was severely decomposed to the point where the form was unrecognizable.
The police located and apprehended the biological mother, who had moved to another area about six months ago, and began a focused investigation into the circumstances of the child's death from the night of the 10th.
During the investigation, it was reported that the mother in her 20s gave a statement implying that she was aware the child was already dead.
A police official explained in a phone interview with a broadcasting station, "The National Forensic Service is conducting an autopsy, and the mother was aware of the child's death."
