[Asia Economy Reporter Ra Young-cheol] The operation of the Jeongseon Line train (A-train) running between Jeongseon Station and Mindungsan Station in Gangwon-do will be completely suspended for five months from the 15th to July 14th.
According to Jeongseon-gun on the 11th, this unavoidable measure is due to the expansion of the railroad road bridges near Obandong Entrance in Aesan-ri, Jeongseon-eup, and near Muksan Apartment in Mureung-ri, Nam-myeon.
The Oban Road Bridge in Aesan-ri, Jeongseon-eup will be expanded from one lane to two lanes with an investment of about 2.5 billion won, and the Hwangji Road Bridge in Mureung-ri, Nam-myeon will be expanded to a width of 12.5 meters with an investment of about 1.4 billion won.
