[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Dongwook Park] On the 10th, one new case of COVID-19 was added in Andong City, Gyeongsangbuk-do.


According to Gyeongbuk Province on the 11th, as of midnight, the cumulative number of confirmed cases in the Gyeongbuk area was 3,037 (including 43 imported cases).


The one new confirmed case in Andong City was a contact of a confirmed patient related to Seoul Hanyang University Hospital, who tested positive after developing symptoms during self-quarantine.


In Gyeongbuk Province, 23 cases (excluding imported cases) were confirmed across the region over the past week, resulting in a weekly daily average of 3.2 confirmed cases.


Since February, the spread of COVID-19 in Gyeongbuk has significantly slowed, with 10 cases on the 1st, 12 cases (2 imported) on the 2nd, 6 cases on the 3rd, 7 cases (1 imported) on the 4th, 7 cases (3 imported) on the 5th, 1 case on the 6th, 6 cases (1 imported) on the 7th, 5 cases (1 imported) on the 8th, and 2 cases on the 9th.
