'Lost 50kg' Kwon Mijin, "Became a Mom... Will Diet After Leaving Postpartum Care Center"

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Bong-ju] Comedian Kwon Mi-jin has embraced her first daughter.

On the 10th, Kwon Mi-jin posted on her SNS, "On February 9th at 1:15 PM, a daughter weighing 3.22kg and measuring 52cm was born, and I became a mother," along with a photo of her newborn daughter.

Kwon Mi-jin revealed that she gave birth to a healthy daughter via cesarean section at a maternity hospital in Seoul.

In an interview with a media outlet, Kwon Mi-jin shared her plan to publish a book containing her postnatal diet know-how and said she will start dieting in earnest once she leaves the postpartum care center.

Kwon Mi-jin married a non-celebrity man working in the construction industry in August last year.

Kwon Mi-jin gained attention in 2011 through the 'Gag Concert - Health Girl' segment by losing weight from a super obesity of 103kg to the 50kg range. Since then, she has maintained a slim figure for nearly 10 years and authored several books. She currently communicates with fans through her personal YouTube channel 'Mijin Clip.'
