ADT Caps, 50th Anniversary... "Leap to Korea's No.1 Security Specialist Company"

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] Security specialist company ADT Caps announced on the 5th that it held a non-face-to-face founding anniversary ceremony to celebrate its 50th anniversary.

The founding anniversary ceremony, held non-face-to-face through online streaming on the 4th, proceeded in the order of awarding long-term employees, the '2020 Performance Award,' and a CEO encouragement speech. A total of about 400 people were selected as long-term employees in 2021, and 189 people were selected in 174 categories for the '2020 Performance Award,' which is given to outstanding members who achieved the best performance last year.

Since its first step as Korea Security Corporation in 1971, ADT Caps has been part of the history of domestic security. It has led innovations in security services such as establishing the security team in 1988, starting the dual control system in 2001, and introducing LTE security lines in 2014. Since joining the SK ICT family in 2018, it has expanded its security business to the 'Care & Protection' field, which enhances quality of life along with safety, based on advanced ICT technology. ADT Caps is scheduled to launch a new integrated corporation through a merger with SK Infosec in March. It has also expressed its ambition to become the number one security specialist company in Korea by leading the convergence security market in the first year of the integrated corporation's launch.
