Officer A from Busan Police Agency hits pedestrian while driving in underground parking; car owner Officer B charged with improper parking, passenger Officer C booked for aiding drunk driving

According to the Busan Police Agency on the 3rd, at around 9:40 p.m. on the 2nd, three police officers including Sergeant A (male) called a designated driver after having dinner and were moving the car toward the building entrance when they hit a pedestrian passing by the underground parking lot exit of the Busan Police Agency.
The accident was minor, a contact collision, but the breathalyzer test showed that Sergeant A was at the license suspension level.
It was investigated that Sergeant A was moving the car to an easily accessible location after calling the designated driver.
The vehicle owner was Sergeant B, who had also been drinking together, and it was revealed that Sergeant B drove about 6 meters to move the car out of the underground parking lot, leading to his being booked and investigated for violating the Road Traffic Act. Sergeant B’s breathalyzer result was at the license cancellation level.
The police have suspended Sergeant A and Sergeant B from their positions, and Sergeant C, who was a passenger, is under investigation for aiding and abetting drunk driving.
