Yeobo, Excellence in 'Public Institution Auditors Conference' through Proactive Administration

[Asia Economy Reporter Song Seung-seop] The Korea Deposit Insurance Corporation announced that it received the 2020 Institution Excellence Award (Active Administration Exemption and Consulting Audit Division) at the '2020 Korea Public Institution Auditors Conference' held on the 28th, hosted by the Korea Public Institution Audit Association.

This award is given to institutions that conduct proactive administration with preemptive, creative, and active administration in public interest work, and achieve institutional improvements and eradication of wasteful management through consulting audits.

The Korea Deposit Insurance Corporation was recognized for introducing a procedure that shortened the response deadline for prior consulting from 30 days to 5 days to overcome the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) early, and for adopting software robots that perform repetitive tasks such as data inquiry and collection.

Lee Han-gyu, auditor of the Korea Deposit Insurance Corporation, said, “Through the spread of a culture of active administration, KDIC will faithfully fulfill its role in protecting financial consumers.”
