The ‘Expecting Local Autonomy Challenge’ campaign was launched in December last year by the Presidential Committee on Local Autonomy to commemorate the opening of the Local Autonomy 2.0 era, which is changing to be resident-centered.
Chairman Lee said, “It is expected that the independence and expertise of the council will be strengthened through the Local Autonomy Act, which has been completely revised for the first time in 32 years,” and added, “I will do my best to realize true local autonomy with the residents and to help local autonomy grow further.”
Chairman Lee nominated Han Jeongwoo, chief of Haman Police Station, Yoon Youngchan, chief of Haman Fire Station, and Jeong Sangyul, director of Haman Office of Education, as the next participants.
