[Announcement] Korea Exchange Appoints 11 New Department Heads

It is notable that 11 new department heads were appointed, focusing on team leaders born between 1968 and 1971 who possess outstanding expertise and work capabilities, aiming to transform into a younger organization. As a follow-up measure to the organizational restructuring announced on the 22nd, department heads with abundant expertise and practical experience were concentrated in market management departments, prioritizing the stability of market operations.

An official from the Exchange stated, "In the personnel appointments for team leaders and team members scheduled for February, we will reduce personnel in non-market departments and expand and allocate personnel with expertise in market-related departments to ensure stable market operations despite the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic," adding, "We plan to manage personnel to maximize the effects of the organizational restructuring aimed at strengthening the CCP and TR divisions and enhancing short-selling transparency."
