[Asia Economy Reporter No Woo-rae] "Ricky hyung gave me a lesson."

It is the pride of Im Sung-jae (23, CJ Logistics). On the 27th (Korean time), he posted a photo of Ricky Fowler (USA), a member of the PGA Tour, along with the caption "Ricky hyung gave me a lesson" on social media (SNS) live. The day before, he visited the putter brand 'Scotty Cameron Studio' in San Diego, California, USA, and met Fowler. Im Sung-jae was practicing putting, and Fowler was checking his posture.

"I explained that my head slightly moves to the left during the putting backswing, but at the moment of impact during the downswing, my head moves back to the right," he said. Fowler held Im Sung-jae's head with the putter grip. "I tried to fix my head so that it wouldn't move to the left as much as possible during the backswing," he said, expressing gratitude by saying, "Ricky helped me a lot."

Im Sung-jae has liked Fowler since he was young. "When I was in the 6th grade of elementary school, I followed him at the Korean Open," he said, adding, "I talked with Ricky about how impressed I was." Fowler won the Korean Open in October 2011 and has grown into a top player with a total of five wins, including the 2015 'fifth major' The Players Championship. The two players will participate in the Farmers Insurance Open held at Torrey Pines Golf Course in San Diego on the 29th.
