[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Jun-gyeong] On the 27th, the Jeonnam Provincial Office of Education conducted a "Love Sharing Blood Donation Campaign" in cooperation with the Korean Red Cross Gwangju-Jeonnam Blood Center at a mobile blood donation bus in front of the office building entrance.

This blood donation campaign was held at the request of the Blood Management Headquarters of the Korean Red Cross, amid difficulties in securing blood supply due to a decrease in visits to blood donation centers and cancellations of group blood donations caused by the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic.

The Office of Education voluntarily participated with about 40 employees, following their participation in two blood donation campaigns last year. The employees underwent fever checks, hand sanitization, and wore masks to prevent COVID-19, adhering to quarantine guidelines while donating blood.

Kim Do-jin, Director of the General Affairs Division, said, "I am grateful to the employees who actively participated in blood donation during the ongoing COVID-19 difficulties in blood supply," and added, "We will continue to take the lead in practicing life-sharing to contribute even a little to the medical field and the stability of blood supply."
