[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Lee Sang-hyun] Miryang City, Gyeongnam Province, is expanding the users of its comprehensive agricultural product processing facility to include not only existing agricultural management entities but also general citizens.


The city announced on the 27th that the comprehensive agricultural product processing facility, which has been operated to improve convenience in agricultural product processing, promote agricultural product consumption, and support agricultural startups, will be operated by advance reservation starting February 1.


The facility plans to separate agricultural management entities and general citizens and operate processing equipment accordingly.


Agricultural management entities can use all 40 types of equipment.


General citizens are limited to using two types of dryers and a commercial mixer.


Applicants must pre-wash the raw materials before bringing them in, and must receive usage and safety training before using the equipment.


Furthermore, all sales activities of the produced products are prohibited in compliance with the Food Sanitation Act.


Applications must be made by consulting the schedule in advance with the Agricultural Support Division of City Hall, then obtaining the application form from the Agricultural Technology Center website or the Eup/Myeon/Dong Administrative Welfare Centers, filling it out, and submitting it in person or by fax to the Agricultural Support Division of the Agricultural Technology Center.
