[Asia Economy Reporter Junhyung Lee] Lock&Lock, which embraces 'people-centered lifestyle innovation' as its brand value, has continuously evolved to meet consumer needs and trends. As part of this effort, Lock&Lock entered the cookware business in 2012, leveraging its expertise and know-how accumulated in the kitchenware industry. Utilizing various safe materials in its cookware products, Lock&Lock launched the 'Decore IH Series' last year, considering functionality, safety, and convenience all at once.

The Decore series, imbued with retro sensibility, features vintage colors and rounded curved designs, offering a total of four colors and ten lineups, allowing consumers to choose their preferred style. In particular, the 'Petit Wok' attracted attention from a wide range of generations from their 20s to 40s with its uncommon 22cm size and yellow color, rarely seen in existing cookware.

Additionally, the Decore series applies coatings optimized for each product's intended use. Pots mainly used for soup dishes are coated with ceramic coating, which excels in corrosion resistance and durability, while frying pans frequently used for pancakes or stir-fry dishes are coated with titanium coating that prevents food from sticking. Furthermore, a special technique maximizing the contact area on the bottom was applied to the pots, increasing heat efficiency on induction cookers by 40% compared to conventional pots.

Lock&Lock cookware has been recognized for its excellent design reflecting aesthetics and convenience, winning prestigious global design awards such as the German Red Dot Award.
