[Asia Economy Reporter Buaeri] SK Inc. C&C announced on the 27th that it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Lambda256 to develop enterprise blockchain services. Lambda256 operates the blockchain service platform 'Luniverse'.
The two companies will form a joint task force (TF) and work on developing an 'enterprise universal blockchain service model' utilizing point integration services, data tracking services, and document services.
They will also promote functional and service linkage between the blockchain platform 'ChainZ' and Lambda256's 'Luniverse' platform. In addition to jointly developing and operating Blockchain as a Service (BaaS) that reflects industrial demand, they will mutually cooperate in developing customized blockchain systems for individual companies.
They will also promote various My Data-related businesses such as electronic document services, which are in increasing demand in the digital era, as well as non-face-to-face access control, customer points, and finance.
Lee Gi-yeol, Head of Digital Platform at SK Inc. C&C, said, "We will support rapid digital innovation in key industries such as manufacturing, finance, distribution, logistics, and services," adding, "In the COVID-19 situation, we will help build various social safety nets based on blockchain and further strive to expand blockchain services and technology ecosystems."
Park Jae-hyun, CEO of Lambda256, said, "We hope this will be an opportunity to spread practical blockchain success cases such as COVID-19 diagnostic testing and vaccine certification using blockchain technology."
