HDC Hyundai Development Company Reports Zero Fatal Accidents Including Partners Last Year

Kwon Soon-ho, CEO of HDC Hyundai Development Company (photo), is speaking at the headquarters on the 26th during the proclamation ceremony of the safety and quality special campaign 'SMART ZERO'.

On the 26th, Kwon Soon-ho, CEO of HDC Hyundai Development Company, stated, "Based on the safety and health management system, thanks to the hard work of our partner companies and employees over the past year, we were able to achieve zero fatal accidents and significantly reduce injury accidents."

HDC Hyundai Development Company announced this during the declaration ceremony of the safety and quality special campaign 'SMART ZERO (Seumateu Jero)' held at the headquarters with partner companies, led by CEO Kwon.

CEO Kwon said, "To successfully achieve SMART ZERO, I ask everyone to do their best in accident-free and defect-free site management by eliminating risk factors for major accidents in advance and adhering to principles through improvements in systems, facilities, and tools."

The event was held via video conference with a minimal number of attendees, including CEO Kwon Soon-ho and the Safety and Quality Committee, to prevent the spread of COVID-19. The campaign proceeded in the order of reporting this year's key safety and quality initiatives, presentations on safety and quality operation plans by PMs, awards for sites and partner companies, appointment letters for the Safety and Quality Committee, and the reading of the safety and quality campaign declaration.

Under the slogan 'SMART ZERO,' HDC Hyundai Development Company plans to realize accident-free and defect-free workplaces through smart safety and quality management by implementing, on the 'safety' side, 'Self-control, Monitoring, Assistance, Recheck, Training,' and on the 'quality' side, 'Speedy defect handling, Manpower enhancement, Autonomous site quality management, Responsible quality management, and Teamwork' to build a cooperative system.

Additionally, at the declaration ceremony, Yoonjoo Construction and Dusong Construction were selected and awarded as excellent partner companies in safety and quality, respectively.
