Changwon City Implements Application for Newlywed Couple Jeonse Loan Interest This Year

Applications Accepted from February 8 to March 5, Up to 1 Million KRW Within 1.2% of Loan Balance

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Saeyan] Changwon City, Gyeongsangnam-do announced on the 26th that it will accept applications for the newlywed couple jeonse loan interest support project from February 8 to March 5 this year.

The newlywed couple jeonse loan interest support, which has been implemented since 2019, is the first of its kind in Gyeongnam Province and this year marks the third time it has been offered.

The support targets are newlywed couples without a house whose income is below 180% of the median income, within 7 years from the marriage registration date, and who have received a jeonse loan from a financial institution.

The support provides up to 1.2% of the jeonse loan balance, with a maximum of 1 million KRW, once a year.

Households with children receive an additional 20% per child on the support amount, up to a maximum of 1.5 million KRW.
