[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Oh Hwan-joo] Muan County, Jeollanam-do (Governor Kim San) announced on the 26th that on the 19th, Kim Sung-gyu, CEO of Yeongheung Agricultural Products Agricultural Cooperative Corporation, donated 3 million won to the Seungdal Scholarship Foundation to be used for nurturing local talent.
CEO Kim Sung-gyu said, "I decided to donate to the Seungdal Scholarship Foundation out of a desire to help youths in difficult circumstances even a little," and added, "I hope the Seungdal Scholarship Foundation becomes more active."
Governor Kim San stated, "I am grateful to CEO Kim Sung-gyu, who has continuously donated scholarships despite many difficulties in management due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic," and said, "We will strive to ensure that more students can benefit from the scholarships."
Meanwhile, CEO Kim Sung-gyu has become a role model in the local community by donating a total of 18 million won in scholarships from 2013 to the present.
