Kia's Top Seller Last Year: Kim Kyungsoo, Manager of Jamsil Branch, Sold 494 Units

[Asia Economy Reporter Changhwan Lee] Kia announced the list of the top 10 nationwide sales performers of 2020 and revealed on the 26th that Kim Kyungsoo, Sales Manager at Jamsil Branch (43), was selected as the top-selling employee last year.


Sales Manager Kim Kyungsoo was named Kia’s sales king by selling 494 units throughout 2020.


Having sold 409 units in 2019 and ranked 2nd, making it into the top 10 sales performers, Sales Manager Kim Kyungsoo was selected as the sales king for the first time this year.


Sales Manager Kim Kyungsoo said, "I believe the result came from constantly thinking and striving from the customer's perspective so that they could have a positive experience based on the best products and services, thereby building trust. Being named sales king for the first time during these difficult times is all thanks to our customers and my colleagues," he added.


Following Sales Manager Kim Kyungsoo, Sales Manager Lee Kwangwook of Sangam Branch sold 427 units, Sales Manager Jung Songjoo of Mangwoo Branch sold 397 units, Sales Manager Lee Seonju of Dangjin Branch sold 370 units, and Sales Manager Kim Gyedong of Gunpo Branch sold 365 units.


Next in line were Sales Managers Park Kwangjoo of Daechi Gallery Branch, Go Sanghee of Sanggye Branch, Yoon Seokchan of Yeongdeungpo Branch, Kim Hakjun of Hwajeong Branch, and Lee Hyosoon of Singil Branch, who all made it into Kia’s top 10 sales performers.


The company cited that the top sales employees’ understanding of products, ability to grasp customer tendencies and needs to introduce customized vehicle models with a ‘customer-first’ mindset, consistent and sincere customer service that builds trust, and Kia’s highly attractive lineup covering everything from sedans to SUVs (Sport Utility Vehicles) were the main driving forces behind last year’s sales achievements.


A Kia representative emphasized, "As we recently changed our company name and logo and declared a leap forward as a new brand, we plan to continue meeting customer expectations through innovative products and a higher level of service, along with customer-centered customized promotions that are fitting for this new phase."
