AI Speaker 'Kakao Mini C' Battery Fire... Recall and Refund

[Asia Economy Reporter Buaeri] Kakao announced on the 25th that it will collect and refund the external battery pack (portable pack) of the AI speaker 'Kakao Mini C'.

Kakao announced this through the Hey Kakao application (app) on the same day. According to Kakao, there have been recent customer inquiries reporting combustion of the portable pack of Kakao Mini C.

Kakao explained, "After 20 months since its release, battery aging has begun, and it is presumed that the battery swells or generates heat when overcharged."

Kakao will operate the collection and refund program from today until December 31.
