Rapper Iron Found Dead Amid 'Baseball Bat Assault' Allegations

Rapper Iron, who is accused of assaulting a colleague, is leaving the court after completing the pre-arrest detention hearing at the Western District Court in Mapo-gu, Seoul, on the morning of the 11th.

[Asia Economy Reporter Jeong Dong-hoon] Rapper Iron (real name Jeong Heon-cheol) was found dead on the 25th.

The Jungbu Police Station in Seoul announced that at around 10:25 a.m. that day, a security guard found Iron bleeding and collapsed in a flower bed at an apartment in Jung-gu, Seoul, and reported it.

Iron was taken to the hospital but was pronounced dead.

Earlier, Iron was under police investigation for allegedly assaulting a teenage boy who was learning music from him with a baseball bat last year. He had previously been sentenced to prison for assaulting his girlfriend and smoking marijuana.
