In particular, since last Chuseok, due to the prolonged COVID-19 crisis, farmers and fishermen facing difficulties in marketing agricultural and marine specialty products will see this event expanded by more than 30% compared to Chuseok this year. Compared to last Lunar New Year, it has expanded more than threefold.


By directly trading with producers in Jangseong, Naju, Jangheung, Hampyeong, Wando, and other areas, it helps farm income and offers carefully selected direct trade products at reasonable prices.


First, excellent Korean beef products from Gangjin, Jangheung, and Haenam areas include Sanji Altteul Set 3 priced at 120,000 KRW and Sanji Altteul Set 4 at 170,000 KRW. From Yeonggwang, premium Beopseongpo Chamgulbi Set 2 is 200,000 KRW, Beopseongpo Chamgulbi Set 6 is 200,000 KRW, Set 5 is 150,000 KRW, along with Jangheung beef jerky, Damyang Hangwa, and mushroom sets from Gangjin and Jangheung, showcasing local products.


In this event, Gwangju Shinsegae’s local buyers confidently introduce the top 10 Namdo gift selections, known for their taste and style.


These include Namdo Hanwoo Family Set 4 from Namdo production area at 430,000 KRW, Sanji Altteul Practical Set 3 at 150,000 KRW, traditional autumn chamjorigi dried fish set “Suhyup Yeonggwang Chamgulbi Happiness Set” at 300,000 KRW, special gulbi “Manbok” at 250,000 KRW, apples from Jangseong and Jangsu famous for clear water and soil, local apples cultivated in Naju, Naju pear “Manbok” set at 115,000 KRW, Naju Hallabong set at 30,000 KRW, Jangheung Hanwoo beef jerky Set 2 at 150,000 KRW, Jangseong Daebong dried persimmon Set 1 at 90,000 KRW, Cham abalone “Dabok” set at 250,000 KRW, and Cham abalone set at 100,000 KRW.


Along with this, Gwangju Shinsegae plans to hold the “Jeollanam-do Agricultural and Marine Specialty Products Gift Direct Trade Win-Win Market,” with participation from about 20 companies from 22 cities and counties in Jeollanam-do, from the 29th of this month to the 7th of next month on the first floor.


It will showcase 23 items from the 3rd generation master gift collection, 41 local gift items, and 166 single items.


Gift displays will also be arranged to allow customers to view Lunar New Year gift products at a glance.
