Prepare Your Farming Plan in Advance
[Boseong=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Cheon-seok] Boseong-gun, Jeollanam-do announced on the 25th that it will accept applications for the 2022 Agriculture, Forestry, Livestock and Food Project budget from the 18th of last month until the 17th of next month.
The Agriculture, Forestry, Livestock and Food Project is a government-supported initiative aimed at strengthening agricultural competitiveness and increasing income through rural structural improvement.
This year's application fields include 125 projects across seven sectors: rural, agriculture, food, livestock, food products, distribution, and horticulture. Eligible applicants are farmers, producer organizations, and workers related to agriculture, forestry, livestock, and food businesses.
The main projects by sector for 2022 include, in the rural sector, △General Rural Agricultural and Fishery Village Development Project, △Support for Returning Farmers' Agricultural Startups and Housing Purchase. In the agriculture sector, there are △Agricultural Water Quality Improvement Project, △Support for Organic Fertilizer.
In the food sector, there are △Activation of High-Quality Rice Distribution, △Support for Installation and Operation of Liner Wrap, and in the livestock sector, △Smart Livestock ICT Pilot Complex Construction Project, △Support for Livestock Manure Treatment.
The food products sector includes △Support for GAP Certification and Traceability Management Distribution, △GAP Safety Analysis Support Project, and in the distribution sector, △Smart Farm ICT Convergence Diffusion Project, △Foundation Establishment Project for Specialized Fruit Production Complex. The horticulture sector includes △Support for Modernization of Facility Horticulture, △Support for Modernization of Special Crop Facilities.
Applicants should check the eligibility and requirements for each application field and apply at the relevant department or the eup/myeon office. Detailed information can be found on the Boseong-gun website.
The county plans to reflect the budget for next year after conducting its own review of the feasibility of the submitted projects and after deliberation and resolution by Jeollanam-do and the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Livestock Food.
A county official said, “Through the 2022 Agriculture, Forestry, Livestock and Food Project applications, we will strive to discover agricultural policies needed by farmers and promote projects to contribute to the development of agriculture and rural areas and increase farm household income.”
