Gwangju Bank KJ Card Launches 'Seol Holiday Event'


[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Seon-gang] Gwangju Bank (President Song Jong-wook) announced on the 25th that it will hold the ‘2021 Lunar New Year Event’ for KJ Card individual customers until the 14th of next month.


This event consists of four events: ▲Have a bountiful Lunar New Year ▲No problem with online industries ▲Send warm hearts ▲Share with zero interest.


The Have a Bountiful Lunar New Year! event offers a 10,000 KRW mobile coupon to a total of 1,000 customers selected by lottery among those who apply and use their credit or check cards for a combined total of 300,000 KRW or more at four types of businesses: department stores, large marts, supermarkets, and gas stations during the event period.


The No Problem with Online Industries! event offers a 10,000 KRW mobile coupon to a total of 300 customers selected by lottery among those who apply and use their credit or check cards for 200,000 KRW or more in online industries during the event period.


The Send Warm Hearts! event offers a 10,000 KRW mobile coupon to a total of 200 customers selected by lottery among those who apply and use their credit or check cards for 200,000 KRW or more at Jeonggwanjang stores in the Gwangju and Jeonnam regions during the event period.


The Share with Zero Interest! event provides benefits of 2-3 months interest-free installments when using credit cards in online, department store, large mart, non-life insurance, vehicle maintenance, pharmacy, and eyeglasses industries; 2-5 months interest-free installments when used in hospitals (including animal hospitals); and up to 18 months partial interest-free installments when used in home appliances and furniture industries.


The ‘2021 Lunar New Year Event’ can be applied for through the Gwangju Bank website, nearby branches, or customer center. Detailed information about the event periods and coupon issuance dates for each event can be confirmed through the Gwangju Bank website or customer center.


Kim Jae-joong, head of the card business division at Gwangju Bank, said, “Although the Lunar New Year holiday is difficult to freely travel and meet due to the prolonged COVID-19 situation, we prepared the Lunar New Year event to add financial benefits to sharing warm hearts.” He added, “In 2021, we will do our best to provide better products and services closer to our customers’ financial lives.”
