BBQ Collaborates with Jeju Beer to Launch Joint Product

[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Hye-sun] Chicken franchise Genesis BBQ has partnered with craft beer manufacturer Jeju Beer.

BBQ and Jeju Beer recently signed a business agreement at the Genesis BBQ headquarters in Munjeong-dong, Songpa-gu, and announced on the 25th that they plan to release a collaborative fruit ale beer product that pairs well with Golden Olive Chicken as early as next month.

BBQ believes that the fruit ale beer, with its refreshing flavor and lively carbonation, not only has competitiveness as a beer itself due to its easy drinkability but also complements popular menu items fried in olive oil, such as BBQ’s signature Golden Olive Chicken and Hot Golden Olive Chicken.

Jeju Beer is a domestic craft beer company that launched its brand in 2017. Leveraging innovative research and development capabilities, it has introduced various styles of beer to the market, including its flagship product, Jeju Wit Ale.

Once the product is released, Jeju Beer will be responsible for product development and management, while Genesis BBQ will handle distribution and marketing. Furthermore, both companies plan to actively collaborate in various business areas following the launch of the collaborative product.
