February 17 - June 30: Discovering Hiring Companies and Job Placement in G-Valley... 8 Hours a Day, 5 Days a Week on Weekdays with Daily Pay of 78,000 KRW... Apply by Visiting Geumcheon-gu Office Job Creation Division by February 4
[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Geumcheon-gu (Mayor Yu Seong-hoon) is recruiting one additional job counselor for the Seoul Citizen Safety Job program until February 4.
The "Seoul Citizen Safety Job Counselor" is responsible for discovering potential job seekers among low-income groups and providing employment counseling and job information for vulnerable employment groups through operating outreach job counseling centers.
Qualifications require applicants to be unemployed or daily workers without regular income, aged between 18 and under 65, and to hold a job counselor certification. The combined assets of the applicant and their spouse or family must be 200 million KRW or less. However, if no applicants meet the asset-related criteria, those with lower asset levels will be given priority.
The hired job counselor will work at the Job Center within the G-Valley Corporate Support Center from February 17 to June 30, performing tasks such as discovering recruiting companies in G-Valley and matching job seekers with employers to facilitate job placements.
Work hours are from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekdays, five days a week, with a total wage of 78,000 KRW including a 5,000 KRW snack allowance. Paid holidays for government offices and weekly/annual leave allowances apply, and enrollment in the four major social insurances is mandatory.
Those wishing to participate can download the application form from the "Notices & Announcements" section on the Geumcheon-gu Office website, fill it out, and submit it in person along with the required documents to the Job Creation Division on the 9th floor of Geumcheon-gu Office by February 4.
The district will conduct document screening on February 8 and announce the final successful candidates on the 16th.
Meanwhile, last year in the second half, the district hired eight personnel including job counselors and administrative assistants to discover potential job seekers among low-income groups and provide customized job counseling services for vulnerable employment groups.
Yu Seong-hoon, Mayor of Geumcheon-gu, stated, "The role of job counselors is more crucial than ever for residents vulnerable to employment who are struggling due to COVID-19," and added, "We will continue to support vulnerable employment groups facing economic crises by discovering various job opportunities."
