On the same day, Samsung Electronics released the new 'Wind-Free Gallery' product and plans to introduce the new 'Wind-Free Classic' with 'Bespoke' design applied on the 5th of next month.
The Wind-Free Gallery is the top-tier lineup of Wind-Free air conditioners, featuring powerful cooling performance as well as a high-end design without a front air vent, while the Wind-Free Classic is the basic lineup of Wind-Free air conditioners that realizes excellent cooling performance including Samsung's proprietary Wind-Free cooling technology.
2021 Wind-Free Gallery with Furniture-like Design, Enhanced AI-based Hygiene Management
Among the 2021 Wind-Free air conditioners, Samsung Electronics first launched the Wind-Free Gallery, enhancing its design and AI-based hygiene and convenience features.
The Wind-Free Gallery introduced a 'Chevron Metal Art Panel' on the front with a distinctive 'V'-shaped lattice pattern. This panel is available in two colors: 'Chevron Dark' and 'Chevron Light.'
Additionally, the product's lower 'Art Panel,' which consumers can easily replace to create various interior effects, now includes 'Truffle Brown,' bringing the total to 10 color options.
The Wind-Free Gallery features not only Wind-Free cooling that eliminates direct airflow and reduces power consumption but also a 'High-Pass Circulating Cooling' function that uses a circulator fan to achieve rapid cooling without blind spots.
Furthermore, it is equipped with 'Easy Care AI,' an AI technology that automatically manages the product conveniently, and 'Easy Care Self,' which allows consumers to visually check and manage the product themselves when needed.
Easy Care AI consists of ▲'Customized Drying,' which detects internal humidity and provides drying options tailored to user needs ▲'Wash Clean,' which creates an ice capsule at -20℃ on the heat exchanger to freeze and then thaw contaminants, expelling them outside the device ▲and 'AI Diagnosis,' which automatically diagnoses the status of the motor, sensors, indoor/outdoor units, refrigerant, etc., to notify users in advance of potential malfunctions. Notably, using the Wash Clean function can remove over 90% of harmful bacteria such as Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli.
Easy Care Self includes ▲an 'Easy Open Panel' and 'Easy Open Fan' structure that allows consumers to easily open and close the front panel and internal fan for direct internal management ▲and a 'Filter Safe Water Wash' feature that enables the filter to be detached and washed with water.
The 2021 Wind-Free Gallery also applies a 'Clean Safe Filter' system using PM1.0 and e-HEPA filters to sterilize over 99% of harmful bacteria (Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus) and eliminate over 99% of viruses.
The Wind-Free Gallery incorporates various AI functions through Bixby and SmartThings, including ▲'Welcome Care,' which uses smartphone location-based technology to activate cleaning and cooling before the user arrives home ▲'Ventilation Alarm,' which notifies when ventilation is needed after air conditioner operation ▲'On-Device Bixby,' which executes voice commands without Wi-Fi connection ▲and 'Bixby Streaming,' which allows podcast listening through the air conditioner's speaker.
A Samsung Electronics model is introducing the 2021 Wind-Free Air Conditioner new product, 'Bespoke Wind-Free Classic,' at the Samsung Electronics Suwon Plant. The air vent panel held by the model can be replaced with various colors to suit consumer preferences and interior design.
Bespoke Wind-Free Classic Reborn with Bespoke Design
The Bespoke Wind-Free Classic, available for sale starting from the 5th of next month, applies five popular colors introduced in Bespoke home appliances to the air vent panel.
The five colors are Sky Blue, Fun Green, Pink, Satin Gray, and Satin Beige, allowing harmonious interior coordination with other Bespoke appliances. In particular, the air vent panel is designed to be easily replaceable with different colors to suit consumer preferences and interior styles.
The Bespoke Wind-Free Classic also features Easy Care AI technology for automatic product management and a washable filter for thorough hygiene management.
The Wind-Free Gallery's retail price (including installation) ranges from 3.07 million to 6.54 million KRW (single unit basis) depending on the cooling area (56.9~81.8㎡), while the Bespoke Wind-Free Classic ranges from 2.47 million to 3.07 million KRW (single unit basis) depending on the cooling area (56.9~62.6㎡).
