[Asia Economy Reporter Park Sun-mi] The Export-Import Bank of Korea announced on the 23rd that Kim Jong-cheol, former lead attorney of the law firm Sae Seoul, has been appointed as the standing auditor.
Newly appointed standing auditor Kim passed the 1994 bar exam and has served as the lead attorney at the law firm Sae Seoul. He has also held positions such as advisory member of the National Assembly Ethics Review Committee, legal advisor to the Ministry of Health and Welfare, special chairman of the Judicial Evaluation Committee of the Korean Bar Association, and outside director of Korea Gas Corporation.
Auditor Kim stated, "Going forward, I plan to devote myself to the bank’s audit duties based on my expertise as a lawyer and my experience and knowledge gained from various evaluation committees and as an outside director of Korea Gas Corporation."
