The Korea Meteorological Administration (KMA) stated, "Strong snow will fall in the Gangwon mountain area between 3 a.m. and 12 p.m., and again from 9 p.m. to the next morning (24th)."

The rain falling that day will expand to the Jeonnam region, Gyeongnam region, southern Jeonbuk, and southern Gyeongbuk regions in the morning. This rain will begin to stop from the southern Jeonbuk and southern Gyeongbuk regions tomorrow night and mostly cease by early the day after tomorrow.

Also, raindrops will fall in the Jeonnam and Gyeongnam regions at dawn, and in the southern Chungcheong region in the afternoon.

Expected snowfall by the next afternoon is △Gangwon mountain area 5?20 cm △Northeastern Gyeongbuk mountain area 3?8 cm △Northern Gangwon East Coast 1?5 cm.

Expected precipitation amounts are △Jeju Island 20?60 mm △Jeonnam region, southern Gyeongnam coastal area, Gangwon Yeongdong, northeastern Gyeongbuk mountain area, Gyeongbuk East Coast 10?40 mm △Gyeongnam region, southern Jeonbuk, inland southern Gyeongbuk region around 5 mm.

The morning low temperatures on that day will be △Seoul 4°C △Chuncheon 1°C △Gangneung 4°C △Daejeon 5°C △Cheongju 4°C △Daegu 7°C △Gwangju 7°C △Jeonju 6°C △Busan 10°C △Jeju 12°C.

The daytime high temperatures are forecasted as △Seoul 10°C △Chuncheon 7°C △Gangneung 7°C △Daejeon 11°C △Cheongju 11°C △Daegu 10°C △Gwangju 12°C △Jeonju 13°C △Busan 12°C △Jeju 14°C.

Fine dust concentration is expected to be 'Good' to 'Moderate' across all regions, but Chungnam and Daegu will experience 'Bad' levels temporarily in the morning.

The KMA advised, "Since temperatures will drop below freezing overnight in the inland and mountain areas of Gangwon, many roads may have black ice. Please pay special attention to traffic safety."
