People Power Party Nomination Committee Confirms Preliminary Candidates for Seoul and Busan Mayoral Elections on the 26th

[Asia Economy Reporter Naju-seok] The People Power Party's nomination management committee for the April 7 by-elections finalized the verification and interview schedules for the nomination applicants. The candidates advancing to the preliminary primary will be confirmed on the 26th.

On the 22nd, the nomination committee finalized the verification and in-depth schedules for 14 applicants from the People Power Party Seoul City Party and 9 applicants from the Busan City Party.

The verification will be conducted by the Citizen Verification Special Committee based on submitted documents, preliminary questionnaires, and citizen reports received, focusing on moral and legal verification.

Interviews for the nomination applicants will be held on the 24th and 25th. On the 24th, at the Seoul Central Party Office, the Seoul mayoral candidates will present their vision for city administration and provide explanations regarding the verification. On the 25th, interviews for the Busan mayoral candidates will be conducted at the Busan Party Office.
