Goyang-si, 2021 'Apartment Management Work Subsidy' Support

[Asia Economy Reporter Ra Young-cheol] Goyang City in Gyeonggi Province will carry out the '2021 Apartment Management Subsidy Support Project,' which provides partial financial support for the maintenance and repair of aging common facilities in apartment complexes.

According to Goyang City on the 22nd, this year, a total budget of 5.715 billion KRW has been secured, an increase of approximately 1.44 billion KRW compared to the previous year.

The city plans to support ▲replacement of aging common water supply pipes (2.695 billion KRW, including 1.3475 billion KRW from provincial funds) ▲replacement of aging elevators (1.5 billion KRW) ▲general subsidies (1.2 billion KRW) ▲and 320 million KRW (including 96 million KRW from provincial funds) for non-mandatory management complexes.

In particular, starting this year, support for improvement construction of security guards' work (rest) facilities in apartment complexes has been newly included.

The amount of support per complex varies depending on the total project cost, number of households, and type of construction, and after application, the support target and amount are determined through on-site inspection and review by the Apartment Subsidy Support Review Committee.
