Dongdaemun-gu Selected as an Excellent Institution for 3 Consecutive Years in the Ministry of the Interior and Safety's Comprehensive Information Disclosure Evaluation

[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Dongdaemun-gu (Mayor You Deok-yeol) has been selected as an excellent institution for three consecutive years in the comprehensive information disclosure evaluation conducted by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety.

This comprehensive information disclosure evaluation assessed the 2019-2020 information disclosure performance of a total of 587 organizations including central administrative agencies, local governments, and public institutions, evaluating 10 indicators across 4 areas: advance information disclosure, full-text information disclosure, information disclosure request processing, and customer management.

Dongdaemun-gu received high evaluations in areas such as the number of advance information disclosure registrations, information list disclosure rate, and conformity to detailed non-disclosure criteria, earning the honor of being selected as an excellent institution for three consecutive years since 2018.

This achievement is the result of actively promoting ▲high-quality advance information disclosure registrations ▲monitoring the appropriateness of information disclosure processing and full-text disclosure ▲employee training to provide prompt and proactive information disclosure services to satisfy residents' right to know.

You Deok-yeol, Mayor of Dongdaemun-gu, stated, “Being selected as an excellent institution for information disclosure for three consecutive years is the fruit of efforts to proactively provide diverse administrative information,” and added, “We will not be satisfied with this evaluation result and will continue to strive for transparent and trustworthy administration.”
