Chosun Hotel & Resort Donates Blood Donation Certificates to Korea Childhood Leukemia Foundation

Donation of 500 Blood Donation Certificates Through Participation of All Employees

[Asia Economy Reporter Yuri Kim] Chosun Hotel & Resort announced that it held a blood donation certificate handover ceremony on the 21st at The Westin Chosun Seoul in Jung-gu, Seoul, to help pediatric patients undergoing treatment for childhood cancer and blood disorders. The ceremony was attended by Seonwon Seo, Secretary General of the Korea Leukemia Children's Foundation, and Chaeyang Han, CEO of Chosun Hotel & Resort.

Chosun Hotel & Resort conducted a blood donation certificate donation campaign to support the treatment of children with childhood cancer, whose blood supply has become more difficult due to the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19), and donated 500 blood donation certificates collected through this campaign. The donated blood donation certificates will be used by the Korea Leukemia Children's Foundation for underprivileged children with intractable diseases undergoing treatment.

Chaeyang Han, CEO of Chosun Hotel & Resort, said, "We conducted a blood donation certificate donation campaign for pediatric patients with intractable diseases who are struggling due to the blood supply shortage caused by the spread of COVID-19," adding, "We will strive to become Chosun Hotel & Resort that practices continuous sharing with the local community, not just a one-time event."

Meanwhile, Chosun Hotel & Resort donated 1,004 blood donation certificates to the Korea Leukemia Children's Foundation in 2014 to celebrate its 100th anniversary.
