[Hwasun=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Young-gyun] Jeonnam Hwasun-gun (Governor Gu Chung-gon) announced on the 21st that it will recruit the ‘Forest Biomass Collection Team,’ which is planned to be promoted as part of the 2021 financial support job project from the 26th of this month to the 9th of next month.
The Forest Biomass Collection Team will carry out a project to remove vines along major roads and around residential areas for forest landscape management, collect forest products generated during forest tending projects, and promote the utilization of forest biomass.
This project is promoted to create jobs by employing low-income and vulnerable groups in forest tending projects and to increase the utilization of forest resources by expanding the collection of forest products.
Applicants must be residents registered in the county, aged between 18 and 65, and without regular income to be eligible to apply.
The county plans to select collection team members based on selection criteria such as possession of forestry-related certificates, completion of technical education, graduation from forestry-related high schools or higher, and experience in related work activities.
If vacancies arise, additional members will be selected according to priority.
A county official said, “We ask for the interest and cooperation of the residents in the collection team activities that both increase the utilization of forest resources and create jobs,” and added, “Those who wish to participate should apply at the administrative welfare center of their residential eup/myeon within the application deadline.”
